Her clinical background is in acute care, outpatient rehab, nursing homes, and homecare practices. Donna, specifically, has expertise in areas such as orthopedics, geriatrics, dysphagia, and restorative dining programs. She teaches courses which include health conditions, research, capstone, adult interventions, and documentation. Her publications and presentations have focused on topics such as adult interventions, leadership, teamwork, learning styles, educational malpractice, animal-assisted therapy/hippotherapy/equine-assisted therapy, and dysphagia.
